We use 6-wire resistive gauges, vibrating-wire pressure transducers, piezometers, bubblers, and float-and-pulley systems to measure water levels in shallow and deep applications. In surface water systems, measurements are typically taken in a stilling well using float systems, pressure transducers, ultrasonic sensors, or self-calibrating double bubblers—ideal for corrosive environments.
Solutions
Surface Water Monitoring
Buraq Integrated Solutions provides reliable, unattended systems for long-term monitoring of surface water in wells, dams, rivers, streams, weirs, stormwater networks, and water/wastewater treatment plants. Our systems operate dependably under harsh environmental conditions and support multiple communication options including satellite, radio, cellular (IP), and spread-spectrum links.
Water Level Measurement
Water Flow Measurement
Flow is determined by measuring water level through structures such as weirs and flumes, then applying a rating curve. Sensors include float-and-pulley systems, pressure transducers, and ultrasonic devices. Advanced ultrasonic and Doppler sensors can also measure velocity directly in 2-D or 3-D, eliminating the need for additional calculations.
Data Loggers
Our data loggers support a wide range of sensors, offer low power consumption, and function reliably in remote locations. They can operate on battery or solar, provide expandable channels, and support automated control actions such as alarms, valve operations, and event-triggered notifications. Data can be stored and displayed in multiple engineering units.
Sensors & System Compatibility
We support nearly all commercially available water level, flow, water quality, and meteorological sensors. Our systems feature low drift, high reliability, and SDI-12 compatibility. External signal conditioning is rarely required.
Communications
Systems can communicate via satellite, radio, cellular, or telephone. They can automatically send alarms, transmit real-time data, or share historical records to computers, phones, or servers. Data can be viewed through Buraq software or exported to spreadsheets and analysis tools.
