Buraq Integrated Solutions provides advanced data-acquisition (DAQ) systems designed for precise and reliable structural health monitoring. Our platforms are ideal for applications ranging from simple beam-fatigue studies to long-term monitoring of large and complex structures. They support a wide range of sensors including strain gauges, accelerometers, displacement sensors (LVDT, VW, potentiometric), tiltmeters, and temperature sensors.

Modular & Scalable Architecture

Our GRANITE™ modular system is engineered to adapt to projects of any size or complexity. Each measurement module can function as a stand-alone unit—connecting directly to a PC for live data visualization—or be integrated into a fully synchronized, multi-module DAQ network.

This modular approach allows you to easily expand your system as monitoring needs grow, add specialized modules for different sensor types, and position hardware closer to measurement points for improved accuracy. When combined with the central GRANITE™ DAQ, all modules operate in perfect time alignment, creating a flexible, robust, and highly customizable architecture suited for everything from small research setups to large-scale structural monitoring.

Data Retrieval & Software

Data retrieval is seamless and versatile, supporting multiple interfaces including direct PC connection, microSD storage, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and other wireless communication technologies. This ensures dependable data access whether you are on-site or working remotely.

Our PC-based software provides real-time monitoring, automated data scheduling, device configuration, and instant visualization of measurements. Integrated error-checking routines maintain data reliability, while remote access capabilities allow users to manage and review system performance from anywhere. For wider accessibility, we also offer secure web publishing options, enabling stakeholders to view live or historical data through online dashboards.

Distributed Networks with Precise Synchronization

Multiple GRANITE™ modules can be placed throughout a structure and linked back to a central DAQ, significantly reducing cable lengths, installation costs, and signal noise.
The system ensures exceptional timing accuracy through:

  • Built-in GPS with 1 µs pulse-per-second accuracy

  • Clock synchronization within 200 ns of GPS

  • High-precision, temperature-compensated internal clock with ±3 min/year accuracy

  • CPI synchronization: ±5 µs across modules (up to 2,000 ft)

  • EPI synchronization: ±50 ns across modules (up to 300 ft per segment)

  • SPECTRUM modules: calibrated to achieve ±10 ns channel-to-channel precision

These capabilities make GRANITE™ ideal for highly time-sensitive and large-scale structural monitoring.
