Infrastructure Monitoring Solutions

Buraq Integrated Solutions provides advanced data-acquisition systems designed to support critical infrastructure and building projects. Our systems enable remote, unattended, and portable monitoring of key parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, wind speed and direction, power and water consumption, vibration, load, and pressure—across multiple locations simultaneously. Fully compatible with a wide range of sensors and peripherals, our solutions can be tailored to meet the exact needs of any project.

Control Units

Our programmable control units deliver high-precision measurement, intelligent automation, and robust control capabilities, performing and exceeding the functions of a traditional PLC.

Built for reliability, they continue collecting time-stamped data even during power outages using integrated alkaline or rechargeable batteries. Depending on the model, they can store up to 2 million data points, ensuring accurate historical records for system analysis, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. Designed for harsh environments, they maintain full performance in extreme conditions.

Integrated statistical and mathematical functions allow on-site data processing and conversion into desired engineering units (°F, °C, psi, inH₂O, inHg, etc.), reducing storage needs and improving data usability.

Measurement Capabilities

Each control unit supports multiple channel types, allowing a wide range of sensors to be measured through a single device. A single unit can capture data such as voltage, air velocity, temperature, humidity, energy use, water temperature, steam pressure, solar radiation, wind speed, and air quality. With analog, pulse, digital I/O, and switched-excitation channels, most sensors connect directly without external conditioning. Additional multiplexers and peripherals can be added to expand channel capacity as needed.

Control Capabilities

Our control units are fully programmable without ladder logic, enabling intelligent, responsive measurement and control. With a powerful on-board instruction set, they can operate autonomously based on time schedules or conditional events. They can trigger alarms, dial numbers, or shut down equipment if parameters fall outside set limits, and can manage complex operations such as adjusting air-exchange rates by evaluating multiple factors simultaneously.

Communications

We offer versatile communication options for real-time reporting and remote control:

  • Ethernet

  • Coaxial cable

  • Radio communication

  • Telephone

  • Cellular networks

  • Voice-synthesized phone

Systems can be monitored or controlled from an on-site computer, remote location, or even integrated with online dashboards for web-based data access.

Example Application – HVAC Monitoring

  • Monitors key parameters including humidity, indoor/outdoor temperature, flow rates, differential pressures, and equipment status.

  • Uses a single control unit for small facilities or multiple units for large, multi-zone buildings.

  • Automatically controls equipment such as valves, boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, blowers, and air handlers based on real-time data.

  • Triggers alarms or call-outs via phone, radio, or cellular networks in case of abnormal conditions or equipment failure.

  • Stores data locally or transmits it to on-site or central monitoring systems for analysis and reporting.
