Automatic Weather Stations

Solutions

Automatic Weather Stations (AWS)

Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) provide a fully integrated set of instruments designed to measure, monitor, and study weather and climate conditions. Widely used in meteorology, research, and mesonet networks, AWS systems collect key parameters such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, solar radiation, and precipitation—delivering accurate and continuous real-time data.

We deliver complete AWS solutions that enable observatories and organizations to monitor weather conditions across multiple locations. Using a range of high-quality sensors, these stations collect data on temperature, humidity, wind, rainfall, flooding, and more. All data is automatically centralized, organized, and transmitted to the observatory through reliable communication links such as radio or GSM, depending on site availability.

Integrated Sensors and Modules

Buraq Integrated Solutions offers a wide variety of sensors and instruments with specialized classifications and ratings, including NEMA and IP65. Common devices supported in our AWS platforms include:

  • Temperature and humidity sensors with radiation shields

  • Rain gauges

  • Wind speed and direction sensors

  • Pyranometers (solar radiation sensors)

  • Barometric pressure sensors

  • Soil moisture and temperature sensors

  • pH sensors

  • Solar panels with batteries

  • Cameras and ceilometers

  • Air quality monitoring sensors

  • Data loggers

  • Radio and GSM communication modules

Through our cloud management platform, all incoming data can be visualized using dashboards, charts, and real-time displays. Instant alerts can be triggered when abnormal weather conditions are detected, enabling the observatory to issue early warnings and rapid public notifications.
