Gas Flux & Eddy Covariance
The Eddy Covariance (EC) system provides high-precision, long-term measurement of exchanges between the atmosphere and biosphere, including CO₂, water vapor, heat, and momentum. A complete setup includes the EC155 closed-path gas analyzer, CSAT3A 3D sonic anemometer, CR6 datalogger, sample pump, and CDM-A116 for sensor expansion. Its compact 5.9 mL sample cell and optimized intake design deliver excellent frequency response (4.3 Hz cutoff) with only 12 W total power consumption, making it ideal for remote and low-power sites.
Automated Gas Flux Processing
The GasFlux CRBasic program enables fully corrected CO₂, H₂O, sensible heat, and momentum flux calculations directly on the datalogger using high-frequency raw data and established scientific correction methods. Tested across diverse environments—such as agricultural fields, open water, forests, and deserts—the system delivers results comparable to traditional PC-based flux processing software.
